As a signature annual event hosted by China Philanthropist magazine, the 2024 Philanthropic Awards Ceremony once again lit the torch of compassion and brought together the power of goodwill. At this moment filled with honor and heartfelt emotion, Chunhui Children’s Foundation was proud to be named “Model Organization of the Year (2024)”, while the Chunhui Village Program was recognized as an “Outstanding Program of the Year (2024)”. These awards represent full recognition of Chunhui’s work and its enduring mission.
Since its founding, Chunhui Children’s Foundation has remained committed to bringing warmth and hope to orphaned and at-risk children. Among its flagship initiatives, the Chunhui Village Program has been like a ray of light, illuminating the path to growth for countless children. To date, the program has reached more than 100,000 at-risk children across 34 districts and counties, 177 villages, and 12 child welfare institutions in four provinces and municipalities of China, providing professional support and caring services where it is needed most.
The Chunhui Village Program provides both material and emotional support for at-risk children. By recruiting, training, and empowering local social workers, Chunhui Children delivers individualized case services and emotional support, helping children and their families reintegrate into society with dignity and confidence. Under the care of Chunhui social workers, the children’s eyes once dimmed by hardship now shine with dreams of the future, and their laughter echoes across rural villages.
For Chunhui Children, receiving the “Model Organization of the Year” and “Outstanding Program of the Year” awards is both a great honor and a profound responsibility. These honors are like the warm spring sun—comforting every child Chunhui serves, and inspiring the organization to continue forging ahead, bringing hope and changes to even more children in need.
On this path of love and hope, Chunhui Children’s Foundation will continue to work hand in hand with all sectors of society. With love and action, we are building a sky full of light for orphaned and at-risk children. As Wei Zheng, a respected statesman of the Tang Dynasty, once said: “If you want a tree to grow tall, help it grow strong roots; if you want a river to flow far, help its source flow smoothly. ” Chunhui Children’s Foundation understands deeply: for the tree of philanthropy to remain evergreen, it must be rooted in people’s hearts; and for the river of charity to flow long and wide, it must spring from genuine emotion.
