One mirror, one person, two faces

The mirrors at the exhibition are no ordinary ones. Those who look in them say they see themselves. But gaze long enough, and they will realize: in that face, they see another person as well.

The 2026 "Imprint of Motherly Love" Exhibition will capture the true voices of 10 children whose life has been touched by Chunhui Children’s Foundation. Those mirrors give expression to motherly love: sweet words, gentle hugs, nice food and a nurturing home.

An orphaned child says: "I wasn't abandoned—I was chosen. I share no blood with the woman I call my mom, but I have grown into another version of her."

Beijing｜Fortune Plaza (May 8–15)

During May 8–15, a "Mirror Tetrahedron" will be staged in the center of Beijing Fortune Plaza. Standing in front of the mirrors, you will be lost in the fond memories of your mother’s soft words and gentle touches. You will be so sure that after all these years you have already grown as loving as her.

On Mother's Day (May 10), say "I love you" to your mom. And we welcome you to our exhibition in the Plaza.

Guangzhou | Yongqing Fang (May 8–10)

From May 8 to 10, the exhibition will kick off at (Guangzhou) Yongqing Fang, a well-known square representing the integration of tradition and modern development. The "Mirrored Tetrahedrons" remind us that while enjoying the hustle and bustle of city life, we never stop looking back on the good old days. Pause for a moment , take a look at the children's paintings on the back of the mirrors, and see if they remind you of any sweet moments you spent with your mother .

Beijing | 798 Art District (May 16–17)

Grand Finale of the Exhibition Tour: May 16 to 17, at 798 Art District, Beijing. In the heartland of the art center, the "Mirrored Tetrahedrons" will use a pioneering approach to invite every "child" to have a deep inner interaction with the mother in their heart.

Motherly Love Has Greater Healing Power Than Blood

What is Chunhui Mama? It is one of the three core programs of Chunhui Children’s Foundation. Chunhui mamas are also loving women caring for orphaned children in welfare institutions — they are both their mamas and teachers.

Chunhui Children’s Foundation has trained thousands of Chunhui mamas over these years. They give the children responsive care and establish secure attachment with them. In the past 26 years, the program has been operated in 127 child welfare institutions across all 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China, benefiting more than 210,000 orphaned children.
