Can you believe that is a kind of love offered by mamas untied by blood. In child welfare institutions, there is a group of children who may have never heard the word "mama," never listened to a bedtime story, or never known what a home feels like. They are orphaned by their birth parents. But fortunately, there is always a group of women who choose to become their "Chunhui mamas." With courage and love that transcend blood ties, they create a loving home for these children within the welfare institutions. Feeding the children, reading to them, putting them to bed, and supporting them in their first steps… these ordinary daily routines are the most precious moments in these children's lives. What a mama gives us is far more than blood. Her habits, her tones, her looks, her kindness — have all become a part of who we are, and pass on through us to the next generation.
This is the imprint of motherly love. Different mamas, the same love.
From 2025 to 2026, the relay of love has never stopped
On the last Mother's Day, six celebrities from Joy Media stepped up to share the stories of these mamas and the children under their care. This year, the relay of love continues. Once again, partnering with Joy Media, we promote a campaign themed “the imprint of motherly love” on both Douyin and Xiaohongshu (little red book) online platforms. Before this Mother's Day, seven groups of celebrities from Joy Media, @BlueLightBand, @WangNuannuan, @FortySomething, @SongYifan, @PandaDemonKing, @TongTongIsNotEasy, @XiaoQingWithKids, visited our program sites, and recorded the stories of Chunhui mamas and the orphaned children with their cameras. Let us wish those touching stories could reach to the wider public.
